Somerset County, which is part of the Laurel Highlands, is the home of many historic sites, natural attractions, recreational activities and shopping services. During the winter months, Somerset County is a popular down hill and cross-country ski destination and also offers golf, water sports, hunting and fishing opportunities during other seasons.
