The trail does serve the counties of Elk, Jefferson and Cleafield and you will find both trailheads are easily accessible from Route 219. Please see below for detailed directions to both trailheads. |
From the South via I-80
To: Brockway
- Take Exit 97 towards Brockway
- Take Route 219 North
- When you get into Brockway, turn left onto Main Street (Route 28)
- Turn Right unto 7th Avenue where you will find the Brockway Trailhead

- Take Exit 111 towards Penfield
- Take Route 153 North
- Take Route 219 North
- When you get into Ridgway, stay on Main Street (Route 948)
- Go through 3 stop lights
- The Ridgway Trailhead will be on your left (Across from Love's Canoe Rental)

From the North via Route 219
To: Ridgway
- Take Route 219 South
- When you get into Ridgway, turn right onto Main Street (Route 948)
- Go through 2 more stop lights
- The Ridgway Trailhead will be on your left (Across from Love's Canoe Rental)
To: Brockway
- Take Route 219 South
- When you get into Brockway, go straight at the stoplight onto Main Street (Route 28)
- Turn Right unto 7th Avenue where you will find the Brockway Trailhead
