Tioga County, PA, located in Pennsylvania's "Northern Tier" of counties is the proud home of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. It is a land of pristine wilderness where modern conveniences are only a stone's throw away. Fishing? One hundred miles of stocked streams and seven lakes. Canoeing? You haven't done it until you've done the Pine Creek through the Grand Canyon in the spring. Hunting? Some of the best in the East.
Bring the family to the fall foliage season in September and October. Or to the PA State Laurel festival at blossom time in June. Or hiking and biking on Pennsylvania's longest "Rails to Trails" trail. Winter time is for skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and skating. Tioga's mountains are dotted with campgrounds and lodges.
